Privacy
Short version: DreTech.ai runs no server for its agents and collects nothing from them. Your files stay in your own folder. Effective October 26, 2026.

This policy covers the dretech.ai website and the open-source agents published at github.com/dretech-ai/dretech-agents: portfolio-advisor and vacation-planner, whether installed as a plugin or as a standalone skill, in Claude or in ChatGPT/Codex. “We” means DreTech.ai.

The agents are instructions and a small local script that run inside your AI app. There is no DreTech.ai server, account, telemetry, or analytics behind them. Nothing you give an agent is sent to us, so we have nothing to retain, sell, or share.
What they handle. The agents read the documents you give them, such as brokerage and retirement statements or travel confirmations, which can contain names, addresses, account numbers, and balances. They save what they need between sessions as plain markdown files in the folder you work in: for example your age, income bracket, filing status, state, holdings, trip plans, and loyalty balances. Account numbers are kept out of the files the agents write; your original documents are archived in that folder unchanged.
Where it lives. Only on your computer, in that folder, for as long as you keep it. Delete the folder and the data is gone. Uninstalling the plugin or skill doesn't delete your folder.
The account-number hook (hooks/pii-guard.sh) runs locally, reads the file write it's checking, and makes no network calls.

Your AI provider. To analyze a document, the app you're using sends its contents to that app's model provider: Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT/Codex. That happens under your account's terms and privacy policy with that provider, the same as anything else you share in the app.
Web lookups. portfolio-advisor looks up current tax figures on public government pages (IRS, SSA, CMS) using only generic terms like “2026 IRA contribution limit”. vacation-planner searches for fares and hotels using only destination, dates, traveler count, class, brands, and airports. Neither puts names, account or member numbers, confirmation codes, balances, income, or other personal details into a search. If you connect the optional Perplexity connector to vacation-planner, those generic queries go to Perplexity under your agreement with them.
We don't sell or share personal data with anyone, because we don't have any.

dretech.ai is a static site with no cookies, analytics, ad trackers, forms, or sign-in. It's hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which, like any web host, processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type to serve and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address under Google's privacy policy. Downloads and source code are served by GitHub.
If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and follow up, and delete them on request.

The site and agents are not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
